The American Mathematical Society has chosen Indian-American mathematician Nikhil Srivastava to receive the first Cipriani Foyes Prize. He is nominated for the prize in Operator Theory. Nikhil Srivastava is an associate professor at the University of California, Berkeley. He will be receiving the award for "Highly Original Work" in operator theory.
