According to an official from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), an international religious vacation package from Lucknow to Nepal by air has been released at a reasonable cost for this summer.
What is IRCTC?
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, which is owned by Indian Railways, Ministry of Railways, Government of India, offers ticketing, catering, and tourism services to the Indian Railways.
When ordering rail tickets, car rentals, or even flights, you can choose from a variety of IRCTC packages for your desired location.
IRCTC was created by the Indian Railways to help boost tourism by partnering with travel agents, tour operators, and hotels.
In a single day, almost 14 lakh people book through IRCTC, giving the railroads a significant advantage in providing hospitality services to their consumers.
The six-day-five-night package will start from June 19 and end on June 24
People would fly from the Amausi airport in Lucknow to Kathmandu as part of the scheme, according to IRCTC Chief Regional Manager (Lucknow) Ajit Kumar Sinha.
They would be transported to the Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Durbar Square, and several sights in Pokhara while in Nepal.
According to Sinha, an individual will pay Rs 48,500 for the tour, while two people booking together will pay Rs 39,000 each, and three people in a group will pay even less.
He stated that the package includes three-star hotel accommodations and Indian cuisine.
“Based on the reaction, more similar scheduled trips from Lucknow to Nepal will be organised,” Sinha said.
He stated that reservations for the package can be made at the IRCTC Gomtinagar office or on the IRCTC website.
