Gyanendra worked as a network engineer in SBI. In 2013-14, he quit his job and in 2016, along with his friends, made a short comedy film in Chhattisgarhi under the name Wing Chhattisgarhiya Channel. It was shot on mobile, edited and uploaded on YouTube. The picture quality was poor, yet it was liked a lot. After this the Ramlila group of the village gathered together. So far around 400 videos have been made here and this channel has 1.21 lakh subscribers. After this, channels started opening and now there are about 40 YouTube channels. In this, the people of the village are making short films on different themes and uploading them.
4K videos will be made in the studio
Jai Verma does coaching after doing MSc. He told that the village has a population of 4 thousand. And 60 percent of people are YouTubers. There is no studio near the village. If a 10 minute video has to be exported, it takes 7-8 hours. According to Verma and the villagers, the construction of a hi-tech studio will improve video quality and editing.
There are many music channels in the village, their songs are recorded in Raipur. With the construction of a studio, this will also happen in the village itself. Now people see 720 pixels or 4-K. But in villages, videos are made in HD, in which the picture quality remains dull. If this is better then the income of the villagers will increase. The culture and tradition here can be made available to more and more people.
